       <h2 class="line-title"><span>About Me</span><hr /></h2>

<p>I am a Data Scientist II at Amazon. I received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at Louisiana State University in 2022. I received a Masters Degree in Computer Science in 2018. At LSU, I conducted research in the area of Software Engineering under the supervision of <a target="_blank" href="http://csc.lsu.edu/~mahmoud/">Dr. Anas Mahmoud</a> at <a target="_blank" href="http://seel.cse.lsu.edu/">SEEL</a>. In my research, I focused on user concerns in Gig Economy apps (Uber, Lyft, etc.). My past projects involved applying text processing techniques (NLP), machine learning, and statistical techniques to extract and classify discrimination concerns from social media and apps’ policies.</p>
<p>I have also worked on mining software repositories, focusing on linguistic change in Open Source Software (OSS), bug localization, and best practices for using OSS in CS education.</p>

<p>My research at LSU was funded by the NSF grants: <a href="https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=1821525">CCF 1821525</a> and <a href="https://www.research.gov/research-portal/appmanager/base/desktop;jsessionid=SKdTfQhV2G39TLL3znhFhrP2W2Mn6pzfdN2wWT6vWLy2tHmn2HSD!264068753!-1593037060?_nfpb=true&_windowLabel=rsrRecentAwards_2&wsrp-urlType=blockingAction&wsrp-url=&wsrp-requiresRewrite=&wsrp-navigationalState=eJyLL07OL0i1Tc-JT0rMUYNQtgBZ6Af8&wsrp-interactionState=wlprsrRecentAwards_2_action%3DviewRsrDetail%26wlprsrRecentAwards_2_fedAwrdId%3D1951411&wsrp-mode=wsrp%3Aview&wsrp-windowState="> CNS 1951411</a></p><br>

Line numbers count LF bytes from the start of the resource, as the search results do. Vendor segments are library code the classifier recognised; they are stored but not indexed. Bytes are shown as Latin1 characters, one per byte.
