Industries
We supply the same products across very different purchasing environments, and we do not pretend they are the same.
A refinery turnaround and a data center fit-out both need pipe, valves, fittings, flanges, gaskets and bolting. What they do not share is the approval process, the documentation burden, or what happens when the schedule moves. SSI works to the rules of the project in front of us.
Markets We Serve
Pick the market you are buying for. Each page covers the systems we support, what SSI brings, and how that market actually procures material.
What Actually Changes
Approved manufacturer lists, country-of-origin restrictions, MTRs and heat traceability, customer-specific purchasing requirements. On these jobs the constraint is usually what the end user permits, not what is available. We quote inside those rules and say plainly when a compliant option carries a lead time the schedule cannot absorb.
Technical and documentation requirements still apply, but these projects do not always run under approved manufacturer lists or origin restrictions. The constraint is a commissioning or tool-install date that does not move. That changes the job from compliance management to availability, expediting, and staying reachable when the design shifts mid-build.
Most distributors run one process for both. Treating a fab like a refinery adds cost and delay that the schedule cannot carry; treating a refinery like a fab gets material rejected at the gate.
Who We Work With
Plant maintenance, reliability and operations groups buying against plant standards and approved lists, often on short notice.
Crews in the field who need material to show up correct, complete, and in the sequence the install actually runs.
Project teams managing a package across multiple trades, where consolidation and clear communication matter as much as unit price.
Buyers and estimators who need pricing fast enough to bid with, and a supplier who answers the phone after the award.
Same Products. Different Rules.
If you already know what you need, go straight to the category. Every product page covers the types, materials and project support we offer, and links back to the markets it serves.
Send the requirement and the rules that go with it. We will build the package around both.
